6th Annual Pacific Regional Behavioral Health Summit at Tripler Army Medical Center (Kyser Auditorium) from 7-8 September 2017.
The Summit title is “Excellence Through Unity: Exploring the Confluence of
Arts and Science in Providing Evidence Based Care.” One goal of the Summit
is to bring together our regional and local DoD, VA, hospitals,
universities, legislators, practitioners, and customers to foster synergy in
an effort to bridge gaps and reduce redundancy. Click the link for more
We aim to bring together clinicians, researchers, policy makers, clergy,
artists, community leaders, and professors, who share an interest in the
exploring and discussing a broad range of evidence based care for active
duty, Veterans, and their family members.
Attention all DOD attendees: the Summit is officially recognized as a course
and is thus not subject to DOD Conference policy restrictions.
Free CMEs/CEUs/CEs are available.
Back by popular demand, we plan to create another Commanders track for
topics specific to active duty and recent and emerging policy.
As a continuance of the traditions of the previous PRBH summits, we will
organize a series of speech and panel presentations involving high-profile
academics and practitioners in addition to the paper/poster presentation
sessions, as they relate to diversity within DoD/VA.
Submitted papers will be evaluated on the basis of significance,
originality, and technical quality. The submission should clearly emphasize
the discussion aspects relevant to the summit.
