The Current Status of Community Risk Reduction Activities in Local Fire Departments
Presenters: Haylton Haynes, Senior Research Analyst, Chelsea Rubadou, Associate Engineer for Technical Services
Since 2001, NFPA has conducted a United States national survey of over 26,000 municipal fire departments. This presentation will focus on quantifying how the US fire service is addressing community risk reduction activities like fire prevention and code enforcement as well discuss related NFPA standards that address this important fire department activity.
Who will benefit: Fire marshals, firefighters, fire chiefs, building inspectors, planners
