Statewide Sexual Exploitation Training: Understanding and Recognizing Trafficking in Persons

Representative Andria Tupola , the Hawaii State Department of Health and the Department of Human Services will be hosting a FREE statewide training on sexual exploitation “Understanding and Recognizing Trafficking in Persons” week of September 11-15th, 2017. Please see the attached flyer for times and locations for the trainings.

National speaker Lisa Thompson from the National Center on Sexual Exploitation will be presenting information on:
– Understanding human trafficking
– Identifying trafficked persons
– Actions to take when a trafficking situation is discovered
– Existing anti-trafficking efforts
